Day
01: Commence your trek after transfer by road to Dhampus
Phedi. Begin your trek ascending the steep stairway to
Dhampus. Continue ascent along the ridge to
POTANA (1870m), an hour from Dhampus.

Day
02: The trail continues through forest to a clearing at
2010m with good view of Annapurna South and Himchuli,
then descends through forests alive with birds, ferns
and orchids into a huge side canyon of the Modi River.
Pass the teashop of Bichok, cross a stream on a
suspension bridge and climb gently out of the canyon.
More teashops and you find yourself soon at Tolka. A
descent to a stream then another climb again through
forest to a ridge with a teashop. Easy walking past
unusually oval-shaped homes and you come to the
flag-stone-lined street of the Gurung settlement of
Landrung. Beyond Landrung, the trail to GHANDRUNG
(1940m), visible on the opposite hillside, descends to
Modi Khola, crosses it and ascends the other side. The
largest Gururng settlement in the area, the people are
friendly but take your sardar with you while exploring.

Day 03: Following a small
stream through dense forest and a few clusters of
village homes, descend sharply to the Burungdi Khola
then climb up to a ridge, finally reaching a clearing in
the forest. This is BANTHANTI (2250m).

Day 04: Continue again
through forests, ascending to a pass called Deorali at
10,000’ and descend to yet another, the Ghorepani Pass
at 2775m. One enters GHOREPANI shortly afterwards, a
village of several scattered cottages and homes in a
rapidly dwindling rhodhodenron forest.

Day 05: A pre-breakfast
excursion in the pre-down to Pun Hill(3193m) is a must
for magnificent views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna to
watch the sunrise. Return to your lodge for breakfast
then begin the descent through Sikha to the Valley of
the Kali Gandaki. TATOPANI, its name meaning hot spring
from those spring along the river bed, lies across a
long suspension bridge. Overnight at TATOPANI.

Day 06:Head up the Kali
Gandaki gorge, said to be the deepest in the world,
from the heights of Annapurna 1 and Dhaulagiri 1
between which it lies. A tunnel and rocky trails brings
us to Dana and to the hamlet with the picturesque
waterfall called Rupse Chhara. From here a choice of two
trails and a short climbs bring us to GHASA (2000m) for
overnight here.

Day 07: A steep climb
through forest and we arrive at the Lete Khola and the
cluster of buildings that forms the village of Lete.
20 minutes sharp walking and we arrive at Kalopani.
Follow the trail up the east bank then cross over to
the west over a narrow cleft then over a wooded ridge to
a suspension bridge. Walk through Larjung, Marpha to
TUKUCHE (2590m) for overnight.

Day 08: After Tukuche,
the terrain changes from pine and conifer forest to
deserts- like country. Pass through picturesque Marpha
to reach the rather barren township of JOMSOM (2713m).
Please do not forget to re-confirm your flight to
Pokhara.

Day 09: From Jomsom, walk
up the stony riverbed to Kageni (2810m), the first
township where the Tibetan culture becomes very evident
and distinct changes from that of the Thakalis. from
here the climb begins through to reach the pilgrimage
center of TINATH (3710m) with its temple of Vishnu and
Buddhist monastery with the everlasting flame.
Overnight.

Day
10: You have a day free. You can walk towards Throng-la
pass and excursion the area. Overnight at Muktinath.

11: Retrace back to JOMSOM for overnight via Ekali
Bhatti (2730m).

Day
12: AM flight back to POKHARA.
